When sending a text message or making a call you will need to use an international dialing code. To find out which country code you need, check out our list below. You will need to prefix the number you are calling/texting with the appropriate country code to get to the intended recipient. Any we’ve missed? Just ask.
E.g. When making a call from the UK to your friend’s in New York you will need to dial +1 (the code for the USA) and then the phone number of your friend, if you are dialing a land line number don’t forget the area code and remove the first zero if there is one.
