With the recent launch of 4G within the UK by O2 and Vodafone, Cellhire is now in a position to offer 4G services to its customers.
O2’s 4G Services
As of the 29th of August O2 launched their new 4G network capable of delivering greatly increased mobile data speeds across London, Leeds and Bradford. By the end of the year the O2 4G service will be available in 13 cities across the UK.
O2 will be releasing information regarding specific switch on dates over the coming weeks. In addition to smartphone tariffs, business customers will be able to take tariffs for tablets and mobile broadband from launch and Mobile Wi-Fi (Pop Up Office) soon after.
Vodafone’s 4G Services
Vodafone 4G services are now available in London and will be rolling out across Birmingham, Bradford, Coventry, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Leeds, Leicester, Liverpool, Manchester, Newcastle, Nottingham and Sheffield before the end of the year.
Vodafone plan to bring indoor 4G coverage to 98% of the UK population by 2015. 4G services are available as bolt-ons for existing plans and can also be added to bespoke pence per minute plans.
