Le succès du Push To Talk de Cellhire aux Jeux Olympiques

Pendant les Jeux Olympiques de Londres 2012,  Cellhire York,  société de télécommunications et la société « Tornado Mobile » ont été partenaires afin d’apporter une solution instantanée de télécommunications au Comité d’organisation des Jeux Olympiques de Londres (LOCOG).

Cellhire a fourni un service de Push To Talk (PTT = système de communications talky walky ) qui a permis au  LOCOG  de rester en contact en permanence avec leurs équipes principales chargées de transporter les équipes olympiques, ainsi que le comité et les membres du CIO à travers tout le Royaume-Uni..

La technologie Push To Talk permet d’établir des liens voix en semi-duplex où une personne parle et l’autre écoute. Cette technologie se connecte sur les réseaux  3G (pour les transferts de données) permettant deux conversations bilatérales en instantané entre des groupes d’individus en pressant simplement un bouton.

Le service PTT de Cellhire fourni par la sociétéTornado mobile a été déployé auprès des membres clés du personnel du LOCOG et leur a permis de rester en contact permanent via le réseau de données O2. Les communications instantanées sur un système «one-to-one» et «one-to-many » proposé par Cellhire et Tornado mobile ont parfaitement fonctionnés tout au long de l’événement et ont atteint sur le terrain un niveau de communications sans précédent.

Le service PTT a été utilisé lors de grandes épreuves comme la voile à Weymouth, l’aviron à Eton Dorney et beaucoup d’autres épreuves olympiques à travers tout le Royaume-Uni, y compris les stades de football, et le stade olympique dans l’est de Londres.

Un porte-parole du LOCOG raconte: « le produit “The Push-to-Talk et les services fournis par la société Cellhire pendant les Jeux olympiques de Londres étaient d’un excellent niveau et ont contribué à une gestion transparente des Jeux. »

Le produit «  PTT » est disponible en contrat courte et longue durée pour une utilisation au Royaume-Uni et dans le monde.  Le service PTT est une solution de location  particulièrement adaptée lors de grands événements et pour une utilisation à grande échelle.

Olympic success for Cellhire Push To Talk

During the London 2012 Olympic Games, York-based telecoms company Cellhire partnered with Mobile Tornado to provide an instant communications solution to the London Organising Committee for the Olympic Games (LOCOG).

Cellhire provided a Push To Talk (PTT) mobile telecoms service that enabled LOCOG to keep in contact with their key teams tasked with transporting the Olympic teams, Committee’s and IOC members to and from venues throughout the UK. Push To Talk technology allows the establishment of half-duplex voice links where one person speaks and the other person listens. The technology uses traditional mobile phone networks allowing instant two way conversations between individuals and groups at the touch of a button.

The Cellhire PTT service powered by Mobile Tornado was deployed to key members of LOCOG staff and enabled them to keep in constant contact using the O2 data network. The instant communication on a ‘one-to-one’ and ‘one-to-many’ scale offered by Cellhire and Mobile Tornado worked flawlessly throughout the event and gave LOCOG staff on the ground an unprecedented level of communication. The PTT service was used at sailing events in Weymouth, the rowing in Eton Dorney and many other Olympic events throughout the UK, including nationwide football venues and the Olympic stadium in East London.

A spokesperson for LOCOG said, “The Cellhire Push-to-Talk product and the corresponding service levels provided by Cellhire during the London Olympics were of an excellent standard and helped contribute to the seamless running of the Games.”

Mobile Tornado push-to-talk

Cellhire partnered with Mobile Tornado during the London 2012 Olympic Games, to provide an instant communications solution to the London Organising Committee for the Olympic Games (LOCOG).
